After seeing this from Gwyn Hanssen Pigott's home, I just had to change my mind. I love these rooms. I love the texture of the walls. Perfect for a kitchen or cheery sunroom. I'm not sure I'd want it everywhere, but it sure beats the stuffiness of traditional wood paneled rooms.
